Join us as we kick off Bike Along with a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of Bearings Bike Works’ new bike shop. This new space allows us to expand access to affordable, refurbished bikes while creating more hands-on learning opportunities for the young people in our programs.

Who Should Attend

Community members, neighbors, supporters, partners, and anyone curious about Bearings are invited to attend the ribbon cutting. You’re welcome whether or not you plan to participate in the ride, run, walk, or festival afterward.

What Happens Next

Following the ribbon cutting, Bike Along participants will roll out at 4:00 PM, and the community festival will continue on campus from 4:00–7:00 PM.

What is Bike Along?

Bike Along is a community-powered fundraiser that brings people together to ride, run, walk, and celebrate, all while supporting Bearings’ youth programs and access to bikes.

Participants can choose their own adventure: ride, run, walk, cheer, or join us for the festival. The goal is simple, move your body, invite your community to support you, and help us raise $35,000 to move our programs forward.
