BIKE-ALONG 2026

SATURDAY, MAY 2
3:00 - 7:00 PM

What is Bike-Along?

Bike-Along is a community-powered fundraiser that brings people together to ride, run, walk, and celebrate, all while supporting Bearings’ youth programs and access to bikes.

Participants can choose their own adventure: ride, run, walk, cheer, or join us for the festival. The goal is simple, move your body, invite your community to support you, and help us raise $35,000 to move our programs forward.

Tickets & Fundraising

Tickets are $50 each and include:

  • Entry to the ride, walk, or run

  • A food ticket

  • An event t-shirt

We’re also inviting individuals, teams, and families to fundraise for Bearings Bike Works! Every dollar raised helps provide youth with access to bikes, mentorship, and career pathways through our programs. Fundraising is easy and fun — use our tip sheet and social graphics to get started. If you love Bearings, love bikes, or love building stronger communities, this event is for you!

Routes & Distances

We’ll offer multiple turnaround points, so participants can choose their own distance. Riders, runners, and walkers are all welcome. We’ll also host a Toddler Ride for our youngest supporters.

Route maps will be posted here ahead of the event.

Festival & Community Fun

From 4–7 PM, the Bearings campus will turn into a celebration with:

  • Games and activities for all ages

  • Food and drinks

  • Shop walk-throughs

  • Music and space to hang out with the Bearings community

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We’ll have a limited amount of bikes available to rent for $25 on a first come first served basis! Please email Jessie with your name and height to reserve a bike rental for the event.

  • Bearings’ parking lot will not be available for this event. There is plenty of street parking along Brookline St, Elbert St, and surrounding neighborhood blocks. There’s paid parking available at Lee & White, just down the Beltline from Bearings, and we’re located half a mile from the West End Marta station.

  • We’ll have some great festival activities! An inflatable obstacle course, basketball games, cornhole, giant connect four, dancing and music, temporary tattoos, a great taco bar, and more!

  • Absolutely! Please email Iris if you’re interested in volunteering as an individual or as a group. We’ll need help setting up, cleaning up, managing activities, serving food, etc.

  • All ride and run routes will be at a social pace, and you’re welcome to turn around at your convenience. This will be an out and back ride and run with mile markers and signage, and volunteers out on the trail to help out and answer any questions!
