PARTNERSHIPS THAT POWER OUR MISSION
WORKING TOGETHER FOR GREATER IMPACT
At Bearings Bike Works, our work is made stronger by the incredible organizations we partner with. These community collaborations allow us to expand our reach, deepen our impact, and support the youth of Southwest Atlanta in meaningful ways. From riding trails to classroom sessions, we’re proud to work alongside groups that share our commitment to growth, access, and opportunity.

Learn More About our Partners
Georgia Cycling Association
Georgia Cycling Association is the backbone of mountain biking in our state—and a key partner in our youth cycling programs. They support our 3rd–12th grade teams by coordinating races, training our coaches, and providing generous financial assistance to ensure every rider has access. We’ve collaborated on trail design around the state and how to make mountain biking accessible to riders at any skill level. With their help, our teams are building confidence, skills, and a lifelong love of adventure.
Purpose Built Schools Atlanta
Our partnership with Purpose Built Schools Atlanta helps us serve students from Slater Elementary, Price Middle, and Carver STEAM Academy. Students from Slater and Price visit Bearings during the school day to take part in our Gearing Up program, where they build character and skills through our Skills for Life curriculum—earning stars, leveling up, and working toward a bike of their own. Several students from Carver also join us through our paid job training programs, gaining real-world experience, mechanical skills, and leadership opportunities. Together, we're creating pathways for Purpose Built students to grow, connect, and succeed.
Trees Atlanta
Just around the corner from us in Adair Park, Trees Atlanta has been an incredible neighbor and partner. Each summer, our staff teaches bike safety and helps get bikes ready for Trees Atlanta’s Junior TreeKeeper summer camp program. And this fall, they’ll help beautify our Beltline frontage with the installation of a Woodland Edge Demonstration Garden around our new BeltLine bridge connection. We’re grateful for their shared vision of a greener, healthier, and more connected city.
Other Partners
Over the last 15 years, Bearings has developed relationships with community-serving organizations and groups to help meet needs, connect our community members to support and enrichment opportunities for family members of all ages, or strengthen the skill-building and cycling culture in our region. We’re proud to collaborate, support with our resources and expertise, or make referrals to the following organizations we consider friends and partners.
