Four people wearing matching black sweatshirts with a bicycle logo and the words 'Bearing Bikes,' standing with arms crossed in front of a beverage stand. They are all wearing yellow goggles with spiral lenses and are smiling.

Fifteen years ago, Bearings was just an idea — using bikes as tools for connection, skill-building, and growth. Today, that idea has transformed into a thriving space in southwest Atlanta where young people gain confidence, independence, and hands-on skills that will serve them for a lifetime and help them achieve success.

This year, we’re celebrating 15 Years of Service, and we couldn’t have done it without you. Over the next several months, we’ll be sharing stories of students' amazing successes and achievements over the years, photos from the archives, and exciting milestones reached as we look ahead to what’s next at 982 Murphy Avenue.
